Laura shares her experience:
“In the past year I’ve learnt a vast variety of skills that I never thought would have interest me, if I’d have been told a year ago I would be working on the accounts side of the business I wouldn’t have thought it was possible.
I wouldn’t say I’ve faced any challenges, I’d say I pick things up fairly quickly, which in my case is a good thing. I’d never used Sage before but luckily for me there were people around me who had the time to sit with me and talk me through everything I needed to know.
Apex is a great company to work for, I’ve enjoyed everyday I’ve spent here. There’s always something new for me to get my teeth into, learning new skills is a big thing for me, and I have the opportunity to continue to do that.
I’m off on a Sage course in November which is going to help me understand more of the programme and help implement that into the business. I think the next step for me will be to understand more of the accounts side of things and find ways to help Apex grow in a positive and successful way. “
