Our Mending Broken Hearts Appeal
We have chosen the British Heart Foundation to be our
Charity of the Year 2016
Our aim is to raise awareness and raise funds for ongoing life-saving research!
Today in the UK, around 480 people will go to hospital with a heart attack. About seven in ten will survive to return home.
Living with severe heart failure is a constant fight for life. Every year, thousands more families have to watch the people they love struggle with this devastating condition.
Here’s some of our 2016 fundraising events:
Our fundraising appeal will help pay for research into cardiovascular regenerative medicine. This field of medicine aims to try and repair the damage caused by a heart attack.
You can help by donating through our JustGiving page.
Support Engineer, Stuart Smith will be trained in CPR, followed by all staff being trained in how to perform CPR on an adult or child, put someone in the recovery position and use a defibrillator.
Call Push Rescue – Learn CPR in under 30 minutes. Order a CPR kit for your workplace.
Get reddy to join the fun
On Friday 5 February 2016, we’ll be wearing red and hosting an event to help beat heart disease. Money raised will support the BHF’s life-saving research.
We’re taking part in a nationwide bag donation challenge to collect stock for British Heart Foundation shops. For every full bag, British Heart Foundation will receive £10 to help fund vital heart research.
Throughout 2016, we will be sharing highlights and updates on events. Help us raise awareness and help us fight for every heartbeat!
